I think you all know by now how much I love taking pictures of trees, dead or alive. I took a lot of tree photographs again last week, and when I browsed through them now, this one jumped out at me. It was a weird day, weather wise. Very cloudy without being cold, windy without being unpleasant, dark clouds all over, but sun shining from somewhere to light up random areas. As I was driving down the fence between us and the neighbour’s farm, the way the sun lit up the area in front of the tree, with the dark clouds behind, just seemed to beg for a photograph.
“I hear the wind among the trees
Playing the celestial symphonies;
I see the branches downward bent,
Like keys of some great instrument.”
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
I hope you all have a blessed, peaceful Sunday! 🙂
