About

In a nutshell (because I wrote this looooooong piece and lost it through my own stupidity!!!) :

I’m a woman of ‘a certain age’, I recently moved after living in the same area for 27 years, i raised 3 absolutely fabulous kids (I’m sure you will hear a lot about them, since I am a very proud mama), got divorced, and in due course, met and fell in love with the most amazing man, and i moved to a small town called Nylstroom.

A lot of my blogs will most probably be about my new life, my family and friends, and my interests. I love taking pictures, I’m passionate about travelling (and frustrated because I cannot do it often enough), I am crazy about good food and sharing it with loved ones, and I can’t get enough of books and reading.

Looking forward to meeting a lot of lovely and interesting new people! 🙂

    • Thank you so much for popping in! 🙂 I don’t know why it took me so long to start blogging again, but I’m glad I’m back. I have a lot to live up to with my daughter on the same blogging site, but let’s hope we are different enough to attract some new friends, and similar enough to keep them! 🙂

    • Judy, thank you very much, I’m actually quite speechless… I’m writing and deleting, writing and deleting, as I really don’t know what to say. For the moment I’ll just thank you again, and I really appreciate the fact that you enjoy my blog, (as I very much enjoy writing the blog) I will proudly display the award on my blog, if I can figure out how to do it… 🙂

  8. Hello fellow South African. This is very exciting as I always seem to find international blogs but never ones from here. I popped over from Mr Bunny Chow. Congratulations on your new babies! I’m looking forward to following you.
