Hi there, and welcome to my page! 🙂

In a nutshell :

I’m a woman of ‘a certain age’, I am the mother of 3 fabulous kids, and I’m a doting grandmother to one granddaughter. Two of my children (and the grandchild) live in other countries, and I have a constant hole in my heart because of that. I have the best partner that a woman could wish for, and when he’s away to look after his business, I miss him like crazy.

A lot of my blogs will most probably be about my life, my family, my feelings and my interests – basically like most blogs! I love taking pictures, I’m passionate about traveling (and frustrated because I cannot do it often enough), I am crazy about good food and sharing it with loved ones, I can’t get enough of knitting and crocheting, and I love a good book.

I tend to have definite opinions about most things happening in my country and the rest of the world, and sometimes when I write, strong feelings find their way into my writing. Those feelings are mine, and I believe I have a right to write about it – you are of course, more than welcome to disagree with me, I won’t take it personally.  🙂

Looking forward to meeting a lot of lovely and interesting new people! 🙂

I have a lot to live up to with my daughter on the same blogging site, but let’s hope we are different enough to attract some new friends, and similar enough to keep them! 🙂

    • Judy, thank you very much, I’m actually quite speechless… I’m writing and deleting, writing and deleting, as I really don’t know what to say. For the moment I’ll just thank you again, and I really appreciate the fact that you enjoy my blog, (as I very much enjoy writing the blog) I will proudly display the award on my blog, if I can figure out how to do it… 🙂
